What is covered

Every system we design, manufacture and install carries a seven-year warranty from the date the installation is completed. It covers:

Structure: the carcass, the shelving, the hanging systems and the mounting
Installation: the quality of the fit — anything that fails because of how it was put in
Finishes: melamine, lacquer and edge banding on every face we supplied
Hardware: soft-close hinges, drawer runners, rods, brackets and handles

If a covered component fails in normal use inside those seven years, we inspect it and repair or replace it at no charge. Materials supplied by a manufacturer also carry that manufacturer’s own warranty, which runs alongside ours rather than instead of it.

What is not covered

Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or modification by the Client or third parties
Normal wear and tear
Water, moisture, or structural damage to the property not caused by Closet Form
Damage resulting from overloading shelves beyond recommended weight limits

Shelving is rated at 50 lb per linear foot. Loading past that is the one thing that puts an otherwise sound shelf outside the warranty, so if you are planning to store something unusually heavy, say so at the design visit and the shelf gets specified for it.

Who it covers

The warranty is given to the original client at the installation address, and it stays with that installation for the full seven years. It is not transferable to a system that has been taken down and refitted somewhere else, because we cannot warrant an installation we did not carry out.

Making a claim

Contact us in writing inside the warranty period with your installation address and a photograph of the problem. We will arrange an inspection and, if the fault is covered, repair or replace the component at no charge.

Because we manufacture in our own GTA shop rather than ordering from a catalogue, a replacement part is usually cut here and fitted within days. Warranty service reaches the company that built the closet directly — there is no dealer network and no national call centre in between.
