Sunlit custom walk-in dressing room with an island, jewellery drawers and a lit shoe wall, built and installed by Closet Form in Toronto
Our process

Measured, drawn, built and fitted by one company.

Three stages from the first visit to the finished room. Here is what happens at each one, how long it takes, and what you get to see before you commit to anything.

How it works

From first measurement to finished closet.

No dealer network, no catalogue to choose from, and no handover between companies half way through. The person who measures your room works for the same company as the shop that cuts the panels and the installer who fits them.

  1. A Closet Form designer going through floor plans, a 3D closet layout and finish samples with a homeowner at their kitchen table

    Design consultation

    Free · 45–60 minutes

We come to you. We measure the space with a laser, talk through what you store and how you want to reach it, and look at finishes in the room's own light rather than under a showroom lamp. You end up with a 3D design drawn for your room — your ceiling height, your out-of-square walls, your wardrobe — and an itemized price you can still change your mind about. Same-day and evening appointments are available across Toronto and the GTA.

    • Laser measurements taken on site
    • 3D design of your actual room, not a catalogue layout
    • Itemized pricing, no deposit and no obligation
  2. A Closet Form machinist at the CNC router, cutting a white closet panel to size in the company's Greater Toronto Area workshop

    Manufacturing in our GTA shop

    Built locally

Your panels are cut in our own facility here in the Greater Toronto Area, not shipped in from another province. Building locally is what lets us hold quality control, price below the national chains, and turn a design change around in days.

    • Cut to your measurements, not trimmed to fit on the day
    • Manufactured in the GTA, not imported
    • Checked before it leaves the shop
  3. A Closet Form installer fitting a drawer tower into a new built-in closet, with the hanging rails and shelves already in place

    Installation and aftercare

    Usually one day

Our own installers fit the system — the same company that measured the room and built the parts. Most projects are finished within a single day, with minimal disruption to your home and your routine. Afterwards it is covered by our warranty, and because the parts were made a short drive away, warranty work is scheduled in days rather than weeks.

    • Most installations complete in one day
    • Fitted by our own team, not subcontracted
    • Covered by our warranty and serviced locally

Questions about the process

The ones that come up on almost every first call. See all questions.

Scheduling your free consultation is easy! Call or text us at (647) 561-9874, email info@closetform.ca, or book online at www.closetform.ca. We offer same-day and evening appointments across Toronto and the GTA for your convenience. During your consultation, we'll measure your space, discuss your needs and style preferences, create a custom design, and provide transparent pricing with itemized quotes—all completely free with no obligation and no pressure. The consultation typically takes 45-60 minutes.

Most Closet Form installations are completed in a single day, typically 6-8 hours. Simple reach-in closets may take 4-6 hours, while elaborate walk-in systems with islands might take 8-10 hours or occasionally 1-2 days for very large projects. Built-in wardrobes usually require 1-2 days depending on size and complexity. We work efficiently to minimize disruption to your home and daily routine. Unlike some national chains that require multiple visits, we complete the entire installation in one visit whenever possible. You'll be enjoying your beautifully organized closet the same day we install it.

We use only premium-grade materials for durability and beauty: High-density engineered wood (more stable and durable than particle board), Scratch-resistant melamine finishes that won't chip or peel, Solid Canadian maple and oak options for luxury systems, German-engineered soft-close drawer slides rated for 100,000+ cycles, Commercial-grade closet rods rated to support 200+ pounds, Eco-friendly water-based finishes with low VOCs, and FSC-certified sustainable wood from responsibly managed forests. All materials are built to last decades. We never use cheap particle board or wire shelving that sags and breaks.

Every Closet Form system includes our seven-year warranty covering the frame, the shelving, the installation and the finishes and hardware on every surface. That includes the soft-close drawer slides, closet rods, mounting systems and every component we supply. If something fails in normal use inside those seven years we repair or replace it at no charge, and because we manufacture in our own GTA shop the part is usually cut here and fitted within days rather than ordered in through a national chain.
